Learning Center
Mrs. Silver and Mrs. Sobel bring years of teaching experience to the Learning Center located in room 45. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays they give extra time and attention to students who need an academic boost.

Book Club
The Erwin St. School book club is in full swing. Fourth and fifth graders who love to read and talk about books meet every Tuesday at recess. Our next meeting is February 2nd. We are reading The War With Grandpa. Contact Mrs. Dosaj or Mrs. Wachsman if you are interested in joining.

Recycling Partner
We continue to recycle used printer ink cartridges and cell phones through Planet Green. Save your HP, Lexmark, Canon, Dell, Apple, Compaq, Xerox, Kodak and Sharp cartridges over the summer.

Box Tops For Education
All year long you can clip Box Tops from your favorite cereals, soups, snacks and other food items. We send them to General Mills twice a year. The funds we earn are placed in the student body account. Learn more about the program at www.boxtops4education.com.
