Henry Clay Majestic PRIDE Safe and Civil Schools Program
Nutrition and Lunch Movement Procedure
PURPOSE The nutrition and lunch movement will allow students a safe and civil environment for moving from their classrooms to the nutrition/lunch area. RESPONSIBILITY The student will go to the covered eating area or to the yard using the correct walkway. The teacher will stand at their door to monitor students during the passing period. The administrators and supervision staff will be in their predetermined supervision areas to monitor students. PROCEDURE At the nutrition/lunch bell and after teacher dismissal, students will walk to the covered eating area or to the yard using the correct walkway. IMPLEMENTATION PRIDE Team members will discuss and show the staff the nutrition and lunch movement during the Buy Back and/or Pupil Free Days. Teachers will discuss and show their students the nutrition and lunch movement by walking with their students to nutrition and lunch during the first week of school. |
