Daily Life Lends Itself to Instruction

As we approach the holiday season it is important to remember that your daily activities lend themselves to providing instructional moments for your children. Have them assist you in creating shopping lists and figure out how much the items are going to cost. Cooking and baking both lend themselves to the use of fractions and other measurement activities. Daily life is where our students should put what they have learned in school to use. Take advantage of it!
