Camellia Avenue Elementary School
serves about 1000 preK - 5th grade students. We are a LEARN school which is located in the Northeast San Fernando Valley. We are part of a family of schools known as the Poly-NoHo Cluster of schools within District 2 of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Our students, staff and parents are eager to work together and learn. Our main focus is to help our children develop English literacy skills. Our teachers are implementing methodologies to improve literacy and language acquisition through California Early Literacy Learning or Extended Literacy Learning. Through district efforts, we've had Open Court Reading since the year 2000. Our children are doing better each year in their ability to read, write and compute. We encourage you to visit our site and learn more about us.
