School Pledge

I pledge to try to do my best

• Mission Statement:
  To become a community of leaders who collaborate in a productive and professional manner.
  To have clearly defined standards, which challenge and motivate students to become capable life-long learners
  To engage all members in the journey towards achievement of educational excellence.

School Wide Goals for 2008-2009:

• 47% of the students at Broad Avenue will achieve Proficient and above in Reading and Math on the CST in second-fifth grades (school-wide, Hispanic, socio-economically disadvantaged, Engish Language Learner subgroups)
• 60% of the students at Broad Avenue will achieve Average and above on the CAT 6 in first grade. This is 12 out of 20 students in each classroom.
• We will move 10% of our students in FBB and BB to the next band of performance.
