EducationLotus

I recently earned my Masters degree in Education, specializing in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum at Walden University.

I graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts.

I earned my teaching credential through the Cal State Teach Program at California State University of Los Angeles.

I attended Santa Monica College for two years taking courses in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, Child Development, and Sociology.

Special Interests and Hobbies:

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, yoga, tai chi, hiking, photography, cooking, visiting museumsyoga class and gardens, watching movies, listening to music, playing on my computer, and learning new things. Right now, I am learning guitar, knitting, and studying Spanish. Please feel free to offer help or advice. I welcome any opportunities to practice my Spanish, though it may be frustrating for you.

I am also active in several organizations promoting the environment, peace, and justice. One very near and dear to me is the Coalition for Educational Justice. In CEJ, parents, students, and teachers work together to bring educational equity to public schools located in lower income communities of color. If you are interested in attending one of our meetings please see me, or Ronni Solman, before or after school. We would love to tell you all about it! Be sure to visit the Allesandro CEJ Chapter Web site.
