Hello, my name
is Ms.
Megan Black. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.
I graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois before
moving to the City of Angels.
I recently graduated with my Masters in Education, specializing in
Integrating Technology into the Curriculum from Walden University.
Before
discovering my love
for teaching, I worked many, many different jobs. Some of them include;
waitress,
bartender, bell hop, and gardener. I worked in a metaphysical
bookstore, was an
office manager for an acupuncturist and chiropractor, and later managed
a learning
center. It was at the learning center that I first realized I might
like to be
a teacher. We needed someone to run the after school homework center. I
volunteered. I loved it and I haven't stopped since.
