Marathon
Kids and Cross Country Runners
Mr. Sal Montes
brought Marathon Kids to Allesandro. The participating students,
parents, and faculty have pledged
to run a marathon and eat right. On Saturday, October 14, 2006, many
members of Marathon kids took a bus to UCLA's Drake Stadium and ran our
first ceremonial mile. Click on the picture to the right to see our Marathon Kid photos.
Mr. Roman Gomez organized a cross country program. We held our first
meet this year at school where each runner ran 600 meters. Check back
soon for photos of this exciting event.
