The fourth graders presented an assembly to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. day. The children sang "We shall Overcome" and recited a poem about Dr. King. Finally,they showed a video of Dr. King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech. |

Each student at 7th Street School was asked to write his or her dream for the future of the world by completing the statement, "I have a dream...". |

These are some of the examples of 7th Street students' dreams. I have a dream... that everyone would have enough to eat. that all people will be treated fairly. that there will be no more wars. that everyone will get along. Do you have a dream? |
