During my second year at Sixty-Eighth Street School, I continue
to work with an exceptional team of professionals
in our effort to serve the educational needs of our almost 1,200 students. As
part of Local District I of the Los Angeles Unified School District, we are
incorporating the instructional methodology of Clear Expectations; our students
will know what state education standards they are being taught and how the skills
they are learning are links to their future learning. You will find this to
be evident as you visit our site. We have many English Language Learners as
well as a large English Only population. Together, our students develop the
skills they will need to carry them forward toward their educational goals.
